We Like It Raw: You Can't Complain About Health Care Reform If You're Not Willing to Reform Your Own Health

That is just bizarre. It should not be believable - and yet I most definitely DO believe it. I heard your podcast recently with Dr Alejandro Junger. Thank you for making that available. I have to hope that one day - one day - someone like Dr Junger could be Surgeon General ... or is the office itself corrupt?

Hah, I'll pass the note on to dr junger.

I love Bill Mahr. As usual, he exposes the obvious farce of most government intervention/statements.
god help us all if flu shots are mandatory and Burger King is a place to get "nutritious food."
with that I am off to the farmers market to get some real food.

I feel we should give both respect and props to people who choose to work from inside the system to make change. Truth is not self evident over night but instead a long journey of self refinement. I would be honored to be asked by Burger King to be a nutritional adviser. Change is change no matter how small it may seem. All the matters in the end is the direction you consistently worked towards.

This was my favorite part of that same speech:

"We need to tax crappy foods that make us sick like we do with cigarettes, and alcohol -- and alcohol actually serves a useful function in society in that it enables unattractive people to get laid, which is more than you can say for Skittles."

Tax crappy food companies... I like that policy... although I wouldn't know anything about unattractive ppl. getting laid ; )
