Nuts and seeds are full of fats, it's no surprise that you didn't fair well.

Re: Jayna Cooked, Jayna Raw

I'm glad it worked for you, I'm ending mine on friday. I lost no weight after 25 days but gained 3 pounds. I guess from eating seeds nuts and fruits. But all diets don't fit all.

Re: Jayna Cooked, Jayna Raw

Thank you for your inspiration. Thank you for posting these stories! :) Everyone looks great in the before and after pictures, it's so nice to see people's transformations. This is what I needed to see to keep me on this path.

Re: Jayna Cooked, Jayna Raw

I'm probably 80% raw but I need alittle cooked food (mainly rice or bread) to balance the energy or I would never sleep! thanks for sharing your story.

Re: Jayna Cooked, Jayna Raw

To be honest, I really admire you. I've read your story several times but, never had the guts to actually make the changes and become a raw foodist. But, now I think I'm ready to make that jump because I've been spiraling out of control. My weight was never excessively high but, I've also had a bloated stomach from eating to much salt and carbs and I've always felt horrible about the way I both feel and look. I am looking to lose about 20-30 pounds. I'm 150-155 right now and my goal is 115-120. But, more importantly, I just want to feel better about myself and fight genetics (my family has a history of high blood pressure, diabetes, and cancer). Do you have any tips or suggestions? Any quick recipes? I try to keep everything simple so I'm not so good at having too many ingredients in what I eat. I love herbs and spices, though. Thank you for the inspiration.

Re: Jayna Cooked, Jayna Raw

Thanks for sharing this, Jayna!
