    Hi Jayna,
Let me just say...you look Fantastic Sis-ta ! My name is Marie, & I plan to start my journey into rawness October,19th 2008. But I have that common disease M.F.A.L, (my funds are low )
Is it possible to get started without purchasing a Vita mix blender right away ?
I know you have a busy life & probably didn't plan to answer tons of emails, but when you transform like that, you know us girls wanna know ..how to achieve that level of health, wellness, & longevity. Oh yeah...and look sexy as hell !
Once again you are glowing with healthiness & totally look 20 years young...your awesome lady.

Hope you have time to reply.

To be honest, I really admire you. I've read your story several times but, never had the guts to actually make the changes and become a raw foodist. But, now I think I'm ready to make that jump because I've been spiraling out of control. My weight was never excessively high but, I've also had a bloated stomach from eating to much salt and carbs and I've always felt horrible about the way I both feel and look. I am looking to lose about 20-30 pounds. I'm 150-155 right now and my goal is 115-120. But, more importantly, I just want to feel better about myself and fight genetics (my family has a history of high blood pressure, diabetes, and cancer). Do you have any tips or suggestions? Any quick recipes? I try to keep everything simple so I'm not so good at having too many ingredients in what I eat. I love herbs and spices, though. Thank you for the inspiration.

I'm probably 80% raw but I need alittle cooked food (mainly rice or bread) to balance the energy or I would never sleep! thanks for sharing your story.
